| Program Description and Nature of
Work |
| This course provides instruction in solid state
technology, applied electronic theory, schematic drawings, the
characteristics of materials and components, theory and
application of test equipment, and federal laws applicable to this
field of work. Skill development includes the use of equipment in
diagnostic or troubleshooting procedures, the maintenance of
electronic equipment, practical repair procedures and Fiber
Optics. Estimated course length is 18 months.
