| The Business Systems Technology Program is designed
to provide the student with experiences which will prepare them
for a successful career in the business world. Along with
the development of clerical skills, students obtain proficiency in
keyboarding and the use of applications software and technology to
perform a wide variety of office functions. A comprehensive
study of computer fundamentals builds familiarity with terminology
as well as office skills.
The program is designed to give you various clerical skills in
many areas, including Data Entry, Payroll Clerk, Receptionist /
Customer Service Representative, Accounting, Information
Processor, Bookkeeper, Administrative Assistant, Medical Insurance
Clerk, Legal Secretary and Medical Secretary.
Students have the opportunity to work and experience extensive
"hands-on" training with modern office equipment and
computer software. Each phase of the program is carefully
structured and since the program is completely self-paced, every
student may reach maximum skill level regardless of previous
office training or experience.
