UTM and TTC McKenzie gain National attention!!!

We would like to congratulate Welding Instructor Jimmy Kee and former students Kyle McConnell, Matt Jackson, and Jason Young on their entry into the Baja 1000 race. These students, along with engineering students from The University of Tennessee at Martin, built a "Baja Car" that raced in the 2009 Baja 1000 at the end of November. The team was the brainchild of Dr. Bob LeMaster, UTM engineering professor and  graduate of the TTC McKenzie Welding Program. The group built "the first Baja Car from The State Tennessee entered in the race".  See more Here!
